DE&I Policy in Versuni

A diverse, equitable, and inclusive company culture is an integral part of our sustainability strategy at Versuni. Workplace diversity comes in many forms, including age, gender, marital status, pregnancy status and much more. In Versuni, Diversity and Inclusive Policy applies to all employees, ensuring we have an environment where everyone is provided fair and equal opportunities based on their individual needs, and where each colleague feels respected, valued, safe, and empowered. The objective of this policy is to ensure all employment decisions and personnel policies are administered without regard to factors such as age and gender. The DE&I Policy in Versuni helps combat ageism and promote age-inclusive workplaces that value and utilize the skills and experiences of older workers, and provide equal opportunities for career development and advancement.

Age Distribution in Versuni

At Versuni, we embrace diversity in all its forms, believing that a blend of ages, experiences, and perspectives fosters innovation and creates a robust, thriving workplace.

Our workforce consists of two-thirds of employees aged over 35, showcasing a wealth of experience and seasoned expertise. Women make up 35% of this demographic, bringing not only their skills but also invaluable perspectives shaped by diverse career journeys. Young talents (ages below 30) account for nearly 20%, with a remarkable 60% being women. These dynamic young professionals have already demonstrated their capability to handle work independently, bringing fresh energy and innovative ideas to the table. Regarding new hires in 2023 and 2024, approximately 60% of employees are aged over 35, among which female employees account for nearly 40%, reflecting our commitment to equal employment in the recruitment process.

In China management team, employees over 35 years old account for more than 85%. These employees have rich work experience, profound professional knowledge and self-possession. When facing complex business challenges, they show excellent problem-solving ability. Meanwhile, there are also employees under the age of 35 among the management team. These young leaders bring new ways of thinking and innovative vitality to the management, promoting the company to continuously adapt to the rapidly changing market environment. In terms of gender ratio, female employees constitute more than 30%. Female leaders show delicate insight, excellent communication ability and strong team cohesion at work. Their existence enriches the leadership style of management team and provides a diversified perspective for company's development. Versuni management team leaders show the characteristics of age and gender diversity, which help to combat ageism and build a healthy workplace together. We believe our management team will lead the company to a new height more efficiently and stably.

Care for Employees’ Mental Health

Ageism may bring a series of mental health problems. At Versuni, employees are at the heart of everything we do so we are committed to take care of employees’ mental health as well as physical health. In 2024, “Mental Health Caring Month” was launched for employees’ physical health. We organized a series of enriching and meaningful activities aiming to comprehensively care for our employees' mental health and create a joyful workplace. The activities included professional health lecture, engaging mental health readings and other offline activities.

Our portfolio strategy is crafted to meet the varied needs of consumers across multiple age ranges. To achieve this objective, we have divided our products into three lines: vibrant options with affordable price for younger individuals seeking both enjoyment and cost-effectiveness; mainstream products offering balanced and high-quality solution for core target audience; and premium, multifunctional offerings tailored for mature customers who prioritize efficiency and quality. This thoughtful product matrix allows us to cater to preferences of our diverse customer base, from youth to adulthood.
